India SRK favourite hero, Rani Fav heroine of Bollywood fans worldwide New Delhi | December 18, 2006 5:48:43 PM IST
Farhan Akhtar's 'Don' may not have done as per expectations but the charisma of this 'Baadshah' of Bollywood' remains intact worldwide.
In what would come as a much-needed fillip to those pitching in for this Bollywood heartthrob as ideal replacement for Superstar Amitabh Bachchan as host of the third edition of the Kaun Banega Crorepati', 'King Khan' Shahrukh has been selected as the 'most favourite hero' in a poll by Bollywood fans across the world.
Also, despite a lukewarm response to Karan Johar's 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna' and 'Babul', the charming Rani Mukherjee remains the favourite choice for heroine among lakhs of Bollywood fans worldwide, having been chosen the 'Sabse Favourite Heroine' in the 'Sabse Favourite international' poll for this year, the results of which were unravelled last night.
In emerging the favourite hero, Shahrukh beat other contenders like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, John Abraham and Sanjay Dutt.
Also, Rani Mukherjee pipped several others like Aishwarya Rai, the vivacious Preity Zinta, Kareena Kapoor, glamorous Priyanka Chopra, the immensely talented Ayesha Takia, the sultry Bipasha Basu, the stylish Sushmita Sen or the charismatic Juhi Chawla or Kajol Raj Kumar Hirani's "modern take on Gandhism" 'Lage Raho Munnabhai' was shosen the 'Sabsey Favourite Film' in the poll which had 12.85 lakh Bollywood fans from across India, West Asia, South East Asia, US, UK, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Australia and New Zealand for their favorite Bollywood stars.
'Lage Raho Munnabhai' emerged favourite in a list which also included 'Rang De Basanti', the Super Hero film 'Krrish', Karan Johar's 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna' and Kunal Kohli's 'Fanaa'.

Rani rules....yahoo.......
Despite all the media trying to bring her down & mallign her name with different allegations, fans proved that she is still the "Queen of hearts" & remain so... Hope she will also win filmfare & other awards this year..We, the fans should ensure that by giving lots of votes like SFK that she is the best talent out there..
And glad to see her trying the western outfits in SFK award ceremony.....
